Specialized Computer System Automatic Control
Opálka, Jan ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the automatic control of calculations of specialized system. The reader is acquainted with the numerical solution of differential equations by Taylor series method and numerical integrators. The practical aim of this work is to analyze parallel characteristics of Taylor series method, specification of parallel math operations and design of control of this operations.
Real Time Dynamic System Control
Adamík, Pavel ; Kaluža, Vlastimil (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the methodology of controlling dynamic systems in real time. It contents a review of the control theory basis and the elementary base of regulators construction. Then the list of matemathic formulaes follows as well as the math basis for the system simulations using a difeerential count and the problem of difeerential equations solving. Furthermore, there is a systematic approach to the design of general regulator enclosed, using modern simulation techniques. After the results confirmation in the Matlab system, the problematics of transport delay & quantization modelling follow.
Derivational Morphology of Czech on Large Corpus Data
Faltusová, Marie ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is study of word formation in the Czech language. The main aim is to create a module acquiring derivations from data of the electronic Dictionary of the Czech Language. This problematics has been solved by constructing three-level processing based on dictionary data. The first level is to obtain derivations from lemma definitions, the second step is making groups of basic forms according to their similarities, and the third stage is the evaluation of derivation pairs by number tag of derivation class to which they belong. I have managed to get more than 4 500 new words and evaluate over 20 000 derivative couples. The module has become a full-fledged part of the Morphological Analyzer of the Knowledge Technology Research Group, working at the Faculty of Information Technology of the Brno University of Technology.
Automatic Computation Control
Opálka, Jan ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the automatic control of numerical calculations. The reader is acquainted with the numerical solution of differential equations and the parallel, serial, and series-parallel numerical integrator. The practical aim of this work is to design control circuits for the three mentioned variants of integrators. The design includes the development of a software simulator of the control circuit for the series-parallel integrator in a fixed point.
Automatic Categorization of Unknown Words Based on Derivational Relations
Faltusová, Marie ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the construction of a system for automatic classification of~unknown words based on derivation bonds. For this purpose, the system was designed to~extract derivative links based on electronic dictionaries and to create word-forming models from them. Based on this knowledge, it is then possible to incorporate unclassified words into existing nests formed from the obtained bonds, and their models, or create new ones. The reader will be gradually acquainted with the reasons that lead to the continuous transformation or expansion of the lexicon, the ways in which the words in~the~Czech language are derived and how to obtain information about the changes caused by this derivation process. This system builds on and extends the research of the branch of morphology in~the~project of a morphological analyzer of the Research Group of Knowledge Technologies, working at the Faculty of Information Technology of the Brno University of~Technology.
Analyzing measured data in MATLAB
Loup, Martin ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
Analysis of the measured data is an integral part of each measurement. The focus of this bachelor's thesis was to facilitate the processing of results of measurements. Therefore an application was created that can retrieve the data from the file and further analyze them. The application is thus able to create a variety of graphical dependencies, to calculate a new variable from the loaded values, save all variables, to determine the basic parameters of the signal or convert a signal to another signal type.
QRS Complex Detection Using Wavelet Transform
Loviška, David ; Čech, Petr (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of diploma thesis named “QRS detection using wavelet transform” is to simplify and accelerate the work of doctors. This can be achieved by using application for QRS detection, which can use one of four proposed algorithms. Application shows basic informations about inserted electrocardiogram. Part of this program is a graphical window with displayed record and with coloured marks on detected QRS complexes. By another algorythm are marks color-coded due to accurancy percentil of every detected complex. This program is designed for a several hours record from Holter ECG monitoring.
Teaching basic calculus at the secondary school, case study
Hamšík, Karel ; Vondrová, Naďa (advisor) ; Kvasz, Ladislav (referee)
This thesis deals with teaching the basics of calculus in secondary school. These are specifcally those areas of mathematics (functions, derivatives, integrals) that are subsequently discussed in more depth at universities of science, technology, economics, and also other felds. Most university students will encounter these math problems at least to a small extent. Therefore, I am interested in the extent to which pupils are prepared to solve these problems after leaving high school. The second topic that I am interested in is how much the pupils encountered the topics and terms of calculus during their secondary school studies, how they understand them and whether or not they can use them. The aim of this thesis is to describe the methods used in education of elementary school calculus in a specifc seminar where this material is discussed and subsequently verify the ability of the pupils to independently solve problems from this feld of mathematics by a set of didactic tests and their subsequent analysis. The analysis showed that the subject of calculus is for the most part well understood by the pupils. The seminar therefore fulflls the prerequisites for a successful introduction to this subject, which can be successfully expanded on in further higher education. Key words: teaching calculus,...
